Do you take the doxy once a day or twice a day? If it's twice a day, it's important to try and take it every 12 hours so it's always in your system. I take mine at 11AM and 11PM. Also, you shouldn't lie down for 30 minutes after taking the pills, so that might factor into when you take them. And be sure to drink at least 8 oz. of water with the pills. I'm not sure about the milk question- I know the pills say not to take them with calcium supplements, so maybe try to avoid the milk. If they give you stomach problems, eat a few crackers.
