I have never personally use Dr. Hauschka products but here is Paula Begoun's review on the Normalizing Day Oil for Oily, Troubled Skin :
"...contains mostly water, plant oils, plant extract and fragrance. The oils found in a kitchen cabinet (almond, wheat germ, peanut and jojobaA) are just as good for dry skin. What is strange is that this product is recommended "for oily, impure skins....(to) remove signs of blemishes and large pores." I can't imagine anything less helpful for oily skin or blemishes than more oil".
Paula Begoun is of the opinion that one shouldn't slather more oil on oily skin. Not everyone will agree with Paula.
Her review on the clay mask that you used was that "is a standard clay mask that has some benefit for absorbing oil".
