Hi all~
Just wanted to report I am finally doing well on accutane. Day 106 and no new zits for a few days now. Although the red marks and scars still look terrible. How is everyone else doing on their treatment?

That is so cool! Glad to hear you are seeing progress. Not much to report here...it's ONLY the start of week three though.

Eyes and lips dry...but nothing unbearable. I get a weird rash in the exact same spot on each hand (top of hand right above the index finger knuckle)...it's strange...it shows up around noonish and is gone by five! Weird.

I just finished my 7th week.

The first 6 weeks were tormenting, no improvement.

Just in the past couple of days though, I can feel it... it working..... great relief....

I am not clear by any means, but improved.

But now that brings us to the new focus of my war with acne- the red marks.
Right now I am taking Vitamin E and topically applying Aloe.

May God help us all.

I have been following your diary since the start and also tend to read most of your posts. just wanted to say, I am so proud of you for staying strong and not giving up on it. Sounds corny but my mother always told me good things come to those who wait. I'ts been a tough battle for you and it sounds like your finally starting to win. Just don't forget to stay beautiful on the inside, now that your feeling beaufiful on the outside. That's a rare combination to find. Stay strong and good luck to you in all that life brings you.

I'm about a week into treatment and my lips are like prunes and my skin is still oily, but I'm embracing my unslightly, nasty skin like a trooper because I have high hopes for accutane. Keep us posted everyone!
