Acne Diet

I am not a picky eater, I was wondering what a good lunch would be everyday for work....it can be very simple, just anything to help my face

Thanks

Re: Acne Diet

A great choice would be a tuna salad sandwich as long as there are no eggs in the tuna. Eggs cause some people to break out . Tuna has selenium and that halts zits. Use whole wheat bread.
And some fresh fruit. Or have a salad with tuna on top if you dont like bread.
I get whole wheat bagles and have the inside scooped out .

Hm... I would definetly reconsider this. Tuna has a lot of iodine which is a known culprit to cause acne.

Re: Acne Diet

you could eat salads with alot of different things in them..such as add cucumbers, avocados, carrots, nuts, cabbage, bean sprouts, peppers...etc. You can mix any you want together

Fruit is good, I personally love apples! They have natural sugars so it shouldn't harm your skin. Blueberries are also great...

I dont eat meat so I am not going to recommend it since I dont really know which is good for your skin

Soy is excellent for skin both internally and externally
Incorporate Dark green-leafy vegetables into your diet.

Here's a recipe that I love and I have posted it somewhere on here before:

Avocado Delight Sandwich
Ingredients (use vegan versions or non-vegan versions):
2 slices whole wheat vegan bread, preferably 7 grain or more
1 avocado, sliced and peeled - slightly salted
2 tablespoon vegan mayo
1/4 cup bean sprouts
2 slices of tomato
1 slice tofu or vegan cheese
4 tablespoon sunflower seeds (already out of shell)

Drink tons of water....I just started putting lemon in mine so I'll see how that goes.

Re: Acne Diet

I used to drink freshly 'squeezed' apple juice daily, and my skin improved quite a bit.
