Question Wearing Makeup and Exercising!

I know that wearing makeup while sweating and exercising is supposed to be bad for the skin, but I just CAN'T go barefaced outside jogging! I am starting up an exercise regimine today, and there is no way I am going to go jogging around the block with no skin makeup on. That sounds so dumb, but I mean, I can't even check the mail without something on my face Does anyone else workout with makeup on, and if so, do you really notice an increase in breakouts after doing so?? Does it reeeallly make a big difference?

Re: Wearing Makeup and Exercising!

I wear makeup while working out. I wear makeup ALL the time.
I just recently started working out like crazy. 10 out of the last 13 days! A couple of days ago, I suffered a minor breakout on both sides of my face. For the life of me I couldn't figure out the cause of this.... now that I think about it, I wonder if it is from my working out??
I have heard mixed opinions on this.. that working out with makeup on will cause breakouts and that it will not... I want to know the truth from someone who REALLY knows!

Re: Wearing Makeup and Exercising!

I have always worn makeup when working out even before I had acne. A lot of it too! haha. I think it really doesn't matter that much for me anyway. I did a little experiment and tried working out w/out makeup for two weeks and then I wore makeup for two weeks to see if my breakouts were more severe or different. No change at all. Wear the makeup just make sure it is non-acnegenic and non- comedogenic and wash it all off as soon as you get home. But that's just my advice.
