Sleep doesnt affect acne directly but it can weaken your immune system if you arent getting enough sleep. Your immune system is majorly resonsible for fighting unwanted bacteria and thats what acne is. So if its weaker, it cant fight as hard and the acne will be harder to get rid of or you may get more..so yes, sleep affects acne
Your body re-organizes and re- energizes while you sleep. It is also the best time for your body to fight acne. So make sure you get at least 7 or 8 hrs. a night. I always do and when I wake up the next morning my face always looks better than it did the night before!
