I've pretty much given up on prescription medications from dermatologists because they don't work for me (including several courses of Accutane). I stumbled across a few herbal treatments on the internet. Just wondering if anyone has tried them? Two of them caught my eye:
1)Acuzine - product consists of known anti-oxident ingredients
2)Clearpores - product consits of natural herbs which "claims" to reduce sebum production
Acuzine seems less of a scam than Clearpores. But something about Clearpores really makes me want to try it. So, if you have some time, go to their websites (I can't post the address, but just do a search on google) and take a look at both of these products. Tell me what you think of them. I am WILLING to be a test-subject for ONE of these products; of course, i'll post the results so you are all aware. So let me know which one you think is a better choice.
i just purchased acuzine for my l5 yr. old son. just started taking it today. i'll keep you updated. also, i came across a product on ebay called lipodec. it's for weight loss but great for acne. i emailed people that bought it and they said it really cleared their skin. its cheap and contains only whole food concentrates that are really good for you, like spinach, brocolli, etc. for now i'll see if the acuzine does anything. but this lipodec sounds interesting and its much cheaper.
I was researching Clearpores not too long ago and I read that a product made by zenmed called derma cleanse is supposed to be similar to Clearpores but has better ingredients and is less expensive. Well I ordered some yesterday to try it and I will let you know how it works.
Does anyone know anyone who used acuzine? Why is there not much about it? if it was so good why is there not more people on it? Guys who are using it, plz give us daily update if there's any improvement- seriously i'm willing to try anything to cure my pimples! And i mean daily!
I just purchased acuzine and started 2 days ago. The company that makes acuzine has a very good reputation, and plus its all natural.
I did however purchase the clear pores system as well (as a back-up) but have not used it because i don't like the company,i have tried to e-mail them plenty of times with important questions but no answers and plus after i purchased on the internet they didn't secure my e-mail address and now i get like 4 or 5 horrible e-mails a day from people wanting me to check out porn sites GROSS!!
There just something about that company that doesn't feel right.
Has anyone tried clear pores?
I was checking out clear pores myself and wanted to know the ingredients because the link to the ingredients didn't work. I have to know what's in something before I use it. So I emailed them with my question and didn't get a response. Instead, I got a link back to their site. I emailed again and again and but kept getting a llink to the site that doesn't even list the ingredients. At this point I knew I wouldn't order from them but was still curious. Now I'm sudddenly getting spam from weird people. They friggin sold my email addy!

I know different people react differently to treatments. But I just wanted to share my horrific experience with Zenmed's Derma Cleanse. At the time of my severe acne breakout, I didn't want to go to the derm to avoid taking antibiotics. So, started surfing the net and found Zenmed. I took for 3 months. During the 3 months period, I continued to breakout. There was an initial breakout and then my skin calmed down somewhat - I was still getting acne but not like how it was during the initial breakout. At the 3rd month, things started going crazy for me. I started developing huge painful cycts along my jawline and started getting huge pus filled acne on my cheeks. I NEVER got these sort of acne BEFORE I took Zenmed and even when I had the acne breakout. So, for me, Zenmed make my acne even worst at the end of 3 months. I managed to get a refund back. I had no choice but to go to the derm. Was put on Doxy. Cleared everything up within 1 month and now, after 6 months with peels and all, I am left mostly with some brown marks and indented scars. I get so mad at myself sometimes because I could have gotten away without any indented scars if I didn't have those huge cysts!
Anyways, like I said, it didn't work for me but everyone is different. Good luck. There are some old threads here on Zenmed - you can check out other users experiences as well.
So, 240 views later, and no one has a thought as to which one i should try? Like c'mon, I'm willing to be your free guinea pig here, trying out a product which potentially could clear up YOUR acne as well. It's not going to cost you anything, except 5 minutes of your time to compare the 2 websites and tell me what you think.
Definately go for the Acuzine. I would not recommend clearpores. Terrible company and I had an allergic reaction to the product. Acuzine is Expensive though!
I have another suggestion for you. Try looking up information on Epidermx and Silkia Camellia oil. I started on these and think I might have stumbled on to my ultimate cure. There are two different websites to look at. Go to goldportbeauty and also greatnewskin. Check out their testimonials and their message boards. Also search the message boards here on these two products. A lot of people have found their cure. You can also get a small sample of Epidermx off ebay in a multiple auction. Very cheap. Like 3 dollars or so. That includes the shipping! But be sure to use the Silkia Camellia Oil after the Epidermx for a moisturizer.
As for the herbal treatments: I have not had good luck with any of these, especially the Derma Cleanse. I'm not familiar with the other two you're describing, but I wish you the best of luck and hope you make the right decision for yourself.
I would be careful not to make too many changes at once. I read somewhere that the skin can get irritated or breakout from too many changes. Also, how will you know which one is working and which one is not?
Just to let you all know I've ordered Acuzine. I wanted to order Clearpores, but it definetly didn't seem like an honest company. I'll let you all know how long shipping took and how progress is going.
It's to early to tell but i feel better knowing that acuzine is all natural, and the lady on the support line said that there are no side effects like causing your acne to get worse for the first 1 or 2 weeks.
thank you for asking, i will keep posting about my progress
