Question going natural

im thinking of going totall natural and makign my own cleansers ect...well actually, i might not make the cleanser as ive found one that i like but i want to make my own moisturiser and toner, does anyone have any advice on what i should use and why?...ive got rather oily skin, so i want something that might help to control it but not over dry it...

Re: going natural

A really natural approach would be to use filtered water as a toner and pure jojoba oil as your moisturizer. This is what I do and it's great. Less is more.

Re: going natural

hello, the three best soaps I know of which are natural is pears soap, simple soap, and cussons imperial leather classic/origonal soap.

If you wanted to use somthing whch was totally natural you could try simple soap, and extra virgin olive oil. When you use olive oil after you have washed, try not to apply to much as it can take a while to dry, but if you dont use to much it should totally absorb in to you're skin in 5 to 10 mins. you could use this on you're face and body if you liked, it helped clear my skin up for a while, but I was using dettol soap at the time which I think made me break out whilest I was using the olive oil, I am thinking of using it again with a milder soap.

you could also try using soap every other day whilest you're in the shower, because if I do that i find it doesnt cause my skin to break out in spots so much.

Re: going natural

I wouldn't touch dove, dove contains coconut acid which makes ou're skin burst out in spots, I wouldn't touch any soap with coconut acid in it.

Stay away from dove soap

Re: going natural

was readin up ahwile ago on rose water....and was thinking of sprayign some of it on my face after cleansing, and then mabey using jojoba oil on after wards to mouisturise....do you think that this would make my face too oily or that mabey the too oils combined would not be a good thing?
i was just going to add the rose water to a bottle of water so it would be diluted...so would do you think that i could do this?
