I have been experiencing Acne since my Sophomore year in High School and I'm currently in my 4th year in college.
I tried a lot of products and I know many people have also. I just wanted to give you what has worked fairly well with me. What I mean by fairly well is that it has control my acne to a point where I'm comfortable with it, but not satisfy. I still get some acne on my face but seldom. What really frustrates me is my acne on my head, it's kind of weird and gross to me.
But back to what has done a alright job and that's ProActiv and a supplement I buy online called B-5. I have been taking B-5 over a year now I think. I think I have been using ProActiv for around the same time. I use their 3 part system.
When I first started I use their 3 part system every morning and night. But since my acne has decreased I only use the cleanser and toner in the morning and at night I use the full 3 parts.
When I first started using the B-5 supplements I took the recommend does of 20 pills a day. It made me use the bathroom everyday but it wasn't that bad. After a couple of weeks it was all fine. Now after a year or so I only take about 10 pills a day. I don't take all 10 pills at a time, but 5 each time once morning one night.
I know everyone is different but I just wanted to give people other choices or alternatives to their acne. I am still trying to find new improvements with my acne because I can't be completely satisfy until I'm clear for good. I also would appreciate if anyone has any tips they would like to add especially if they have dealt with acne in their head. I also drink a lot of water.
I know there are a lot of stuff out there claiming what works but I feel it's best when people spread what has worked for them than just basing on what to spend on advertisment.
