A few questions

I'm in college and just started getting acne this past year. My skin seems to easily scar...that is, regardless of how many breakouts I have on my face, it has red marks from previous ones. I really need to fix this problem but I really dont want to go on Accutane, just because I dont really like being on pills or drugs like that. Has anyone been on Birth Control for this problem? Does it help? Also, I have been using Pro-Activ since high school, but when my acne started flaring up this year I found out that your skin can become immune to it after awhile. I am now using Dermalogica's Acne Kit for the time being, then I will switch back to Pro-Activ...I just dont know how long to wait. I have been using Derma for about a month and I dont see any change.
How much does stress contribute to acne? I have been really stressed lately, with school, you think this plays a part?
How much does what you eat play a part? I dont eat all that well...sometimes I do, but then I binge lik any other girl. Do you think if i cut out all bad foods, my skin would improve? I heard olives can help your skin...Im sure its just an old wives tale, but are there any foods that actually help??
Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated!
