Red face Those hard-to-get-rid-of pimples

So im fairly new here, but i am looking for some advice.
Ive heard everything - the lemon juice with the cotton ball, the salt, different home made mixes that sounded too crazy to try, ice, steam, the works.

Heres my problem: zits. two big ones. Theyre swollen & fairly red.
My goal isn't necessarily to get rid of them fully by tomorrow, but atleast to get them less swollen & less red by tomorrow. From personal expirience, what works?

Thanks much.

i dont think you can see results in one day with any treatment, i also have your problem, it may take about 1 month before it completly goes away, but i believe it will leave a mark, sorry.

Umm, I would try toothpaste, not the gel, but the regular kind. It might help.

Re: Those hard-to-get-rid-of pimples

try pure tea tree oil directly on the spot. You can also try preperation H. Or take 3 asprin and crush them with the back of a spoon add a couple drops of water till it's a paste and dab some on (you'll have to rewet it or it will dry and flake off but the longe ryou can keep in on the better try for about an hour) also if you only need the swelling to go down for a few hours you can try putting a metal spoon in the freezer and then right before you go where ever you're going press the spoon against the pimple and hold it there. I dont know why but that works for me. I've had success with all of these methods so if you want give them a try.

Re: Those hard-to-get-rid-of pimples

first rub a ice cub on each zit for one or two minutes. the ice will reduce swelling.then try asprin on your zits. just mash em and mix with water. then dab the mixture on the blemish spots. live it on there for about 10 minutes. then rinse it off.
This should help.

you need to ice twice a day for 3-5 minutes then try applying hydrocortizone but only right on the pimple. it takes a few days but it really helps the redness.

Re: Those hard-to-get-rid-of pimples

After you wash your face for the night, put a little BP on the pimples. Than ice them both for about 5-10 min. In the morning wash with a salcylic acid wash. Do this for a coupe days and it should work.

Re: Those hard-to-get-rid-of pimples

Okay maybe a bit late but....

I have had luck with using Benzac AC 5% -- if you have something special on the next day you can reduce the pimple(s) quite a bit by rubbing some on constantly the day before. Just on the same bit over and over whenever you think of it, and rub a glob on lastly before you go to sleep.

Usually it's quite flat and dry the day after, if not gone.

I wouldn't do it everyday, but it's good for those special occassions when you want to look your best.
