Differin = Oiliness? I've been using Differin (the white creamy kind) every night. I noticed that since I've been using it, my face gets extra oily during the day. You can actually see the oil now, where as before it was just a shiny face. Has this happened to anyone else? |
Re: Differin = Oiliness? yea i also use it, its not as bad as you think, it night seem like oil but it treats your face and it's suppose to heal your pores/acne. And its also shiny when i put it on in the day and during night. |
Re: Differin = Oiliness? I think I have noticed an increase in oil too. I am using the gel kind. I have been using it for 1 month and 2 weeks. I think it may be starting to work but I am keeping my fingers crossed! |
Re: Differin = Oiliness? You could try using jojoba oil as a moisturizer to help control the oil. Jojoba oil mimics the oil that your skin naturally produces, so it will produce less oil. I started using a few months ago (although I'm not on Differin anymore, I still have oily skin), and now my skin never looks oily, even when I'm out in the sun hiking when it's 80+ degrees. You can get it at natural/health food stores. |
Re: Differin = Oiliness? REEEally... Jojoba oil... Is it expensive? I'd think that it would break you out more because it's an oil. Do you know of any websites that discuss this? |
