Differin = Oiliness?

I've been using Differin (the white creamy kind) every night. I noticed that since I've been using it, my face gets extra oily during the day. You can actually see the oil now, where as before it was just a shiny face.

Has this happened to anyone else?

yea i also use it, its not as bad as you think, it night seem like oil but it treats your face and it's suppose to heal your pores/acne. And its also shiny when i put it on in the day and during night.

I think I have noticed an increase in oil too. I am using the gel kind. I have been using it for 1 month and 2 weeks. I think it may be starting to work but I am keeping my fingers crossed!

You could try using jojoba oil as a moisturizer to help control the oil. Jojoba oil mimics the oil that your skin naturally produces, so it will produce less oil. I started using a few months ago (although I'm not on Differin anymore, I still have oily skin), and now my skin never looks oily, even when I'm out in the sun hiking when it's 80+ degrees. You can get it at natural/health food stores.

REEEally... Jojoba oil... Is it expensive?

I'd think that it would break you out more because it's an oil. Do you know of any websites that discuss this?
