calamine lotion, with antihistamine works great, if you out it on right before foundation, or right after cleaning your face.

It acts as a barrier between your pores and your makeup, and dirt that happens to touch your face through the day.

ALSO, it reduces swelling and redness, which makes sense, cause its used on mosquito bites, to reduce swelling and redness!

my derm told me about it, and even though my acne is gone, and im just left with redish scars, i still use it as a barrier from makeup and dirt!!

do you find the calamine lotion to be overly drying?
And if I don't wear make-up, might I try it as a mask or something?
Also, if you don't mind, how did you clear up your acne?

sorry to get back so late, but yeah,
if you dont wear makeup you can use it as a mask, but make sure it has antihistamine in it, you can get it over the ciunter at drug stores.

and also, i got rid of my acne, by getting dermibrasion, and blue light therapy for one session, then using this cream called
clayton and shagal - acnose cream.

It worked really well and fast.
