Question about Retin-A (Tretinoin) Cream 0.025%!!!!!!!

My derm told me that retin-a is supposed to dry my skin out, because i have oily skin, i used this for the first time tonite nd it didn't make my skin dry at all, it feels more like a moisturizer, almost similar to the proactive lotion!!!!!!!! anyone has any opinions about this or has experienced it and how well does it work, i use bp 2.5 % in the morning, and if this works how long before i see result?

one time isnt going to do much of anything......for me, dry skin didnt start until end of the first week...then initial outbreak...it can be as long as 2-3 MONTHS before you see results....

Re: Question about Retin-A (Tretinoin) Cream 0.025%!!!!!!!

My skin started drying out after the first three days. Well anyways the information i've read says that it can take up to a whole year for someone to be completely clear then you have to continue using it to stay clear. One thing i don't like about retin-a is it can be expensive. Its ridiculous

How much is RetinA?? I have SteivaA (which is also a tretinoin) and it is only 18$ (I only pay 5$ with insurance) and lasts at least a couple months...

If you don't have insurance Retin-A can cost you up to $30 bucks depending on which percentage rate you get.
