hi...normally I dont look through thisa section of Healthboards but I saw the word "accutane"...i just wanted to say that I took this about ten years ago and it did absolute wonders. since the tmt i have not had another large pimple (i may have one small one once in awhile) the only adverse long term side effect i had could be that it dried my eyes out a little but I doubt i can blame that on accutane since i have had laser eye surgery which is usually the culprit...also, even though it is not normally advised...this was perscribed to me even though my acne wasnt considered "severe"....still though i was down/embarassed because of the acne i had....oh, and i took the burgendy ones (cant remember the dosage) and my doc had me chew them insted of swollow them.....good luck....i hope that this med helps others as well....
