What to do about jawline razor bumps?

I shave in the shower with a Sensor Excel and Aveeno shave gel. But I still get these bumps on my jawline.

Has anyone tried a single blade razor (like a Bic disposible or a BumpFighter razor) to deal with razor bumps?

Re: What to do about jawline razor bumps?

I think razor bumps are a sort of folliculitis related to the hair follicle. On the shelves near the shaving stuff like at walgreens and other drug stores there's this thinkg called I think magic cream or something- it lessens the hair, so lessens the folliculitis. The other thing is to use cetaphil cleanser or any other anti bacterial thing wash before shaving, and after. Oh, and make sure your razor is new- old ones have bacteria. Hope this helps!

I also suffer from shaving rash. Its such a nightmare.

I know it probably seems like i work for clinque, the amount i rave about their ''for men'' range, but honestly, the only products i found to reduce shaving rash dramatically are clinique post shave soother and clinique post shave healer. I also found using a good face scrub before shaving helps. Clinique face scrub exfoliant visage is awesome.

The only way i manage to stop shaving rash completely is to stop wet shaving in favour of my beard trimmer... which my girlfriend is never to pleased about...
