Hi, I'm new here. I've had trouble with acne since I was about 14. I'm a few months past 18 now and am still dealing with it and it's getting frustrating. I've tried everything: sulfur soap, tea tree oil, benyzl peroxide, sacylic acid, regular soap, etc. (Not all at once, of course). I've even tried JUST using sensitive soap to just give my skin a rest and it still was bad.
What else can I do? I seems I ALWAYS have acne on my left cheek, for some reason. The rest of my face gets acne ocassionally, but not as bad. My mom suggested maybe sleeping on the side of my face on my pillow or something is irratating it, but I switch between sleeping on both sides of my face, yet my right side is a lot more clearer. I can't seem to find the source of the problem.
I heard about ProActive and Retin-A and B5 and would love any and all information on these, especially the last two. I've been interested in trying Retin-A, so I'm gonna check out their site and around the net to get some info on it first to see if its what I need.
Thanks for ANY feedback
