Hi, I have really sensitive skin (that actually became really sensitive only after years of retin a use). Now I use differin cream every other night (just started 4 days ago). I have dry skin- but not skin that flakes it just is tight and gets irritated and I break out in the dry areas. If if would flake it would probably do better but it wont. I have heard that jojoba oil or camelia oil may be good for my face. Has anyone with problems like mine used either of these. Where do you get them (I want to make sure to get a good brand) and how do you use it. Any information is greatly appreciated
I have pretty sensitive skin and am currently using retinA micro. I use jojoba oil to take off my eye make up and vanicream as a moisturizer. Some places charge a lot for jojoba oil. The best price I have seen is at Trader Joes.
Vanicream is the best moistuizer that I have found. I use it as an eye cream, face cream, and all over my body. I have very sensitive skin and am prone to eczema. Even cetaphil moisturizer made my face sting. The only sun screen that I found that doesn't bother my skin is from Lindasy. Trader joes sells 100% jojoba oil that I use every night to take off my eye make up. I haven't used it on my face because I am very happy with the vanicream. I didn't want to change something that was working for me.
I buy mine online. It is Desert Essence brand, 100% pure organic jojoba oil. Just do a web search on it, many outfits sell it. As far as the cost, a 4 oz. bottle goes a looong way for me. All you need is a couple of drops for your face, once or twice a day.
