This is my second post. I never write like this on the internet but I know how horrible it is to have acne and so I decided to just post comments about what I use and how it's working.
Now i'm using BLACK SOAP + SHEA BUTTER! It's been 2 days now, I'm going to post a journal and see how this works. My grandmother recommended the product after seeing one of her customers walk in one day w/ absolutely gorgeous skin (apparently she had very horrible acne for the longest time).
The customer said using black soap cleared up her skin and that it worked better than anything else she tried.
Well, I'm testing it out. We'll see how it works! It's drying out my skin but the shea butter acts as a moisturizer so it's all good.
I believe it's an homemade african soap. I remember seeing a thread about it in here. Some said it was miraculous and others said it dried their skin very bad and broke them out slightly.
Capsiderm, the face wash that spawned a few different threads on this board, lists African Black Soap as it's first ingredient. FYI
ksk226, Please let us know how the black soap works for you...
You don't find the shea butter too thick for your skin?
Mine would suffocate under that much moisture
What brand of Black soap do you use?
