Hi guys,
I have used benzoyl peroxide of varying strengths for years now...and to be frank, i don't want to use the stuff anymore because i worry about my poor skin taking a beating from chemicals. I have a couple of aloe vera plants in my garden. I was wondering, would a change to aloe vera and just stop BP cause a breakout cause there is no longer anything killing bacteria on skin or does aloe also have natural antibacterial elements to it as well as healing elements? thanks

Aloe Vera is good but it's really drying. I used to use this every night and my skin became too dry (I have combination skin) I would recommend using Aloe Vera once a week and if you want to apply it to individual spots in that time it's fine. Also only apply it at night because it's like a second film of skin on your face.
