does anybody know if you can buy hydroquinone products at any drug store or wal-mart type store. i am currently using a murad formula, but it cost 50.00 im looking for a cheaper alternative. thanx

Yes you can get 2 percent at the drug stores. Also proactiv sells fade cream too.

I broke out from PA's fade cream...pass on that one if you can. I waited every morning for a miracle that did not happen.

I bought a 4% hydroquinone (I wanted something stronger than the usual 2%) which has 10% glycolic acid. It's a super super cream. All my flakiness is gone, it hasn't broken me and the spots are fading nicely. It's called Glyquin - I think it's only available in Canada - that's where I bought it from (through a website). If you're looking for the regular 2%, there all types available in drug stores - Esoterica is a good one. Oh, the Glyquin costs too - 55 Canadian dollars for a 28 g jar - lasts about a month.

No Gem, I didn't need a prescription. Search the web for teamdrugs that's the name of the pharmacy. If you order, you're better off calling in the order - I have problems ordering off the web.
