hello, im wondering if you have oily skin what form of tea tree oil should you use??? ive always heard of it working wonders on healing pimples, but i dont want to put MORE oil on my face because im so oily already....any tips are greatly appreciated! thank you.
so is what you all are using an astringent/toner or is it a gel that you dab on active pimples..?? i know about the mattifing gel, i think i may have used it before, but lexla and wakkochic what form of tea tree oil are you guys using?? thank you!
I use tea tree oil from The Body Shop. I really like it. You can either use a cotton swab, or I put it on my fingers and smooth just a little over my problem areas in the morning. It's a small bottle and in liquid form. It's not an astringent, but just a liquid you apply to your face. I also really like their Tea tree oil face mask.. it's good if you are having a bad breakout because it soothes the acne and helps minimize inflammation.
im thinking about giving it a try. although, what ive been doing lately is using the aspirin mask at night and then applying hydrogen peroxide to my active pimples. i must say it has definately dried out and healed some of them pretty quickly!!
I have oily skin and have been using Tea Tree Oil, for a little over a month now.
I order mine on-line from a vitamin supplier. I use a Tea Tree Oil facial wash, twice a day and follow up with the liquid on a cotton pad and used like a toner. I have been having excellent results with the Tea Tree Oil and am going to continue with it.
I also have been doing the aspirin masks about every other night!!
