Post Ok. This is getting ridiculous.

Been on MINO for 4 months. (will stop soon cause laser treatment and herbal pills are coming up)

Nevertheless, my ACNE is taking forever to heal.

A regular zit, not a cyst, just a normal sized whitehead takes about 2 weeks to heal and 4 weeks for the mark to go away.

My immune system has totally stopped working.

My cuts and scraps take double the time to heal.

My acne used to be a 48-72 hour thing for each one.
Now, pimples take weeks to go away, and were not talking cystic. I am going crazy!

Hi Aaron,

I think I tried minocycline too, and it did not help. Then they realised this was no case for half-measures, and passed me on to a dermatologist, who put me on Accutane capsules. Following a year or so of this, which started to reap benefits after a few months, I was put on isotretinoin gel, which also has been great to zap the zits that did pop up from time to time. If I could get them in time, isotretinoin gel would nip them in the bud.

The only problem I still had was comedones on the nose, for which I have recently been put on Retin-A gel, which also works great to keep them down.

In short, Vit-A was my solution, the answer to a lot of my prayers. The only thing left is scarring, for which Vit-A is also the answer, but I have now started using Aloe Vera Gel (98%) which is working great to heal damaged blemished skin and also to keep it moisturised and smooth and soft.

To help the scars further, I have ordered Elicina cream, which I got yesterday. I saw it had somne bad reviews on this board, and ordered CP serum and Exfol Serum from skinbiology. I hope to receive this in about a weeks time.

Anyway, that's my story so far. I hope and pray you will find the right treatment for you, soon.

All the Best.
