First post. My skin is generally acne free apart from the odd pimple here or there which dissapears quickly. But I have this one problem pimple that has been with me for about 20 months now. It arrived at the same time I first moved to the UK so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Anyway the problem pimple is about 1/2 cm diameter and has formed a hard discoloured (bluish/grey) lump under my skin. If I don't touch it then every 3 or 4 days it swells slightly and tenderised to the point where a slight squeeze will release a smelly fluid pus. The amount of pus release would be about the size of a few grains of rice. Once a certain amount of fluid pus has been release if I were to squeeze a little harder then the pimple will release a smelly stringy pus. Think of squeezing toothpaste except smaller to get an idea of the second stringy release. No matter what angles and how hard I sqeeze I am only only able to get a certain amount of pus out and the hard discoloured lump remains at the same size.
Anyone have any ideas of what this may be and what can be done to get rid of it?
