What I've been doing is squeezing as I normally would (esp. on my nose), but putting one oil-absorbing sheet between my fingers and the skin of my face. This is so you can still squeeze some of the gunk out (not as much), but without getting more bacteria from your fingers on to your face. It's worked pretty well so far.
