Question Is it the moisturiser?

I seem to get a little oily around my mouth, nose and forehead. Tuesday morning i ran out of moisturiser (i only use a light one) so i went into town to look for some more. So, with the whole oil thing in mind, i picked up Loreal Men Expert Pure & Matte Anti-Regreasing Moisturising Gel and used it that evening before bed. About 15 minutes after applying it i felt my skin going dry in certain places... i looked in the mirror and sure enough, my skin was visibly dry in the places its normally oily. So i applied a little more of the moisturising gel and the job was done. Today, (Thursday) i appear to have broken out a little in the form of 3 (They're small, but one is very itchy) new zits all in the area that's normally oily. Do you think it's the moisturiser that's done this to me? 3 is a lot of zits to crop at once for me, so it seems very strange... can't just be coincidence surely?

Please help...

I know how that is, it's just a part of life. I am older and have grown out of it but just try not to think about it.

As for the moisturiser, try something without fragrances. Fragrance Free. Like Curel.
