Post is there a good 2nd choice to Paula's Choice 1% BHA lotion ?

I need to try and find out if BHA will clear my pores ... my good old BP is getting rid of my current acne problems except for my stubborn blackheads and oily pores ... I want to try BHA and see if it helps... but don't want to order PC 1% BHA lotion until I'm absolutely sure BHA will work good .. any other options to try it out and see ??? or should I just bite the bullet and try Paula's Choice for BHA ???

btw, it also seems to me that anything containg salicylic acid would work just as well. BHA actually is salicylic acid. hope this helps

Yup, that's all it is but some formulas work better than others. I know that her 2% solution works very well, doesn't burn and even heals your acne. If money is the issue here, I know she gives samples, so just email her. =)

I agree with Sweet Jade. I didn't want to appear to be pushing PC, but her formulations are excellent and you might not be as happy with another brand. Sometimes even one small change in the ingredients can make or break a product's effectiveness.
