i have been off accutane for several months and have only experienced a few pimples here and there. a couple days ago i noticed one that was starting to appear and didn't think much of it--but then the pimple started getting really big and it almost seems like theres a cluster of them-possibly cystic acne?--which is something i have never experienced. my boyfriend thought i had a giant bruise on my face! plus it hurts

i'm hoping this is just a one time thing and that my face isn't turning against me. but what i was wondering is if anyone knows of anything i can buy just at a normal drug store that would help out with this. please respond--thank you!

where is it? chin? could be because of hormonal reasons, i wouldnt worry yet. but if it stays for more than a couple weeks (i swear ive had the same exact breakout for a couple months) id get it checked.

it's on my cheek. it just looks so odd because my skin is clear-except for this giant, hideous bump! i think im gonna pick up some oxy 10% benzoyl peroxide stuff...hopefully that will help. :/

Put neosporin on it for a day or two to reduce inflammation, then use BP to dry it up. Try the cream version with the analgesic. Perhaps that will help with the pain.

The same thing happened to me, I was perfectly clear and then I get this horrible bump on my cheek. I took ibuprofen and dabbed a little bit of neosporin on it. It took away the pain and some of the redness but it's still there for me. Thank god I can get it injected at the derm tomorrow!

well i went to the doctor yesterday to get this thing on my face checked out and it turns out i have a bacterial infection! which actually makes me happy, because its just a random thing and not the beginnings of my skin turning to ****. my glands in my throat are all swollen because my immune system is responding to the infection. so i got some antibiotic pills, and hopefully this thing will go away soooon!!!
