Post Breakouts on certain parts of face mean..

Ok does it mean something when you just breakout mostly like on your forehead? You know, how like they say its hormonal if you breakout on your chin and stuff..etc. I think there were posts a long time ago about this but im just wondering if ne one knew what it was for the forehead? thanks

I don't know how true it was but they had stated the Gallbladder as being connected to the forehead.

Check the ingredients on your shampoo and conditioner. Once I switched mine to the ones recommended on the anticlog/anti-irritant list, my forehead got a lot better. I can't find the link. Can someone help me out here?

Yes, I've heard that hair products can cause facial/forehead breakouts. Also, my derm explained to me that while breakouts on the chin and jawline are due to hormones, breakouts above these areas are often caused by stress. That may or may not be what's causing yours. Hang in there.

Hey, SunKissed, do you wear bangs? Sometimes that can cause breaking out on your forehead. You might want to try to put your hair back for a few days to see if this helps any. The natural oils from your hair could be rubbing off and clogging your pores.

Has anyone read or heard of Mary Lou Henner's book? It's been a while since I saw her on a talk show, but I remember her mentioning the reasons why we break out in certain areas of the face. For example, she said that pimples you get in the area above the lip means you are sexually frustrated--I wonder why I remembered that one! (He, he!)Anyway, I wonder if there is truth to that.

I'm curious about this, too! Some of us only break out in certain areas on our faces. Like me. I mostly break out on my cheeks while occasionally breaking out on my jawline and neck. As for my t-zone, it's always clear. I read somewhere on this board that breaking out on your cheeks is related to digestion. What do you guys think?

hahaha I can testify that the area above the lip does not have anything to do with sexual frustation. I have not gotten "lucky" in forever and I would consider myself very sexually frustrated. However, I never get breakouts in that area. Now watch when i wake up tomorrow i have 5 zits above my lip

Sunkissed,
When I first started to have acne it only came on my forehead. Then it moved down to my cheeks, and I have noticed that when people usually first start having acne its usually on there forehead.
How long did you have acne for??
