Does anybody else get irritated or break out around their lips when they wear lip gloss? When I wear most kinds, the edges of my lips will be itchy or have a tiny bump or two afterwards. I don't really understand why I can wear lipstick, carmex, chapstick, and such with no problem, but lip gloss is such an irritant. Any ideas?

It's probably some ingredient in the gloss that irritates your skin. Jane Iredale makes a lip gloss that consists of minerals that do not irritate skin. I personally use roll-on vitamin E. It makes my lips glossy and it's good for them to!

Actually, mineral oils can clog pores and cause break out. So be careful if you are sensitive. I like a gloss by Clinique.
