Angry huge skin-colored bumps deep under the skin-- what???
i've got maybe 5 of these huge guys under the skin. are they cysts? my face feels so bad when i am washing it, but when i look in the mirror i'm shocked that i can't even see them until i get close. they're big though, and gross. what the hell are they? will they ever go away??

Yes, it sounds like you are describing cysts. You should see a doctor and get on an antibiotic. Benzoyl peroxide is a good topical treatment, and hydrocortisone cream and Advil will help with the swelling.

how long does it usually take for these to go away? it's been at least 2 weeks and there is no change at all so far.

Try hot compresses for about l5 min. several times a day and see if that helps bring them to a head. An antibiotic would probably bring them right down in a few days. Ones that stick around that long need something to fight the infection.
