i encounter redness on my cheeks and chin quite often. it might be the sun since its pretty much summer here all year round, but a sunscreen has not helped. the lady who did my facials said it isnt eczema, but i was thinking it might be rosacea. i have sensitive skin too. today i went to a salon today and my cheeks looked red on the mirror, as i was very tired i closed my eyes for ten min (i didnt sleep) and when i opened my eyes..the redness subsided..the longer i closed my eyes and tried to be asleep..the redness went away more. anyone with such experiences..whats with my skin really???
I get that, if I lie down/have a nap it goes away, and then when I get up it starts to come back. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow to see what it might be. Will let you know what I'm told.
as soon as i saw the title of the post i thought "Rosacea" basically if u're not embarrassed, hot, nervous or angry, there's not much reason for u to blush out of no where. good thing is u have very mild rosacea. i used to try to control mine by closing my eyes and avoiding light. anyways, bad news is it can get worst, so better have it looked at.
Maybe it has to do with circulation or thin skin. I always used to have red skin problems too, and I never had rosacea. For some reason it went away. It might also be from using chemicals that are overly-harsh on your face, or due to overwashing. For me, once I started using a BHA and not washing over once or twice a day the redness disappeared and it's no longer a problem.
