hi. i've got acne this year and my doctor prescribed me erythromycin (long name to type)...anyway , i am wondering how long does it really take for this drug to kick in and start working? i also used minocin before , but that didnt have any effect.... which sucks. i really don't wanna go to accutane... that is like the last option.

If I'm correct those are those large pink and white pills? If so, This was just one of the very many products and antibiotics I used that did nothing.

Well, I'm not sure if it did nothing. I used it while on Accutane, My Derm said it would help me not get the huge pimples, but it isn't a cure.

So did u take them?

I've been taking erythromycin for almost 5wks now and i've only seen little improvement

..Most people say to give anti's atleast 2 months to decide whether it's working or not. So, im trying my best 2 be patient

....

i have been using erythromycin for about two months now. i saw some improvement, but as my derm said that antibiotics completely clear up your face....well, thats not true. mu pills are orange and white. thanks for the replies, guys.
