Post accutane and dry lips
i am worried about my lips drting and cracking because i naturally have dry lips, any suggestions for a great lip balm. i heard of aquaphor? anyone try?

everyone on accutane has used aquaphor, it is a godsend.. go to the store and buy 2 tubes.. keep one in the car and one at home.. and then get a good chapstick (they have individual sized aquaphor too.. like samples.. i use that) and always have something on your lips..

is aquaphor just for lips or the whole body? It seems like vaseline, which is greasy and causes my face to break out. I thought it was just for lips...

I actually havn't been able to find aquaphor, but I find carmex pretty good.

I use regular antiobiotic ointment. The kind for cuts that you can find in the First aid section. It works well and is cheaper than Aquaphor.

Chapstick, vaseline, baby Oil and hair conditioner(yes, hair conditioner) also seem to work pretty well.

The main thing is to have stuff readily availiable. I have things in every room in the house, as well as my purse, car, and workplace.

thanks for the replysi went to walgreens today, there was 1 left in the tube, so i snatched it up! i always carry chapstick with me because i chap a lot. aquaphor will be my new best friend.

Aquaphor is good but it can really stain your clothes. Also it makes your lips look really greasy and nasty if you put too much of it on..
