Well here it is day five after laser resurfacing over a certain scarred area. It does seem to have helped a great deal and wasnt that painful. But did look disgusting.
It doesnt seem to have helped the larger box scar much, as there may be loss of fat under that area due to infection,so possibly all the lasers in the world wouldnt help that. But it should continue to build collagen for the next several months, so i wont know full results until then.
If they are good, I am going to see about having my whole face done. I will keep you guys posted.
I am very impressed with the laser results and my redness is already disappearing. I should include that my scars were cut and reshaped before the laser and so far i am very happy...and trust me that says alot.
I also have had 30% improvement from deep blue peels.
But I got lucky with the co2 laser treatment, my insurance covered it.
I should also mention that my new surgeon whom I adore told me that if it scabs it leaves a scar either indention or coloring. And he was right, I made sure that i covered them with vaseline and washed the area every two hours to keep crust from occurring. This is the best results i have seen after 4 subcisions, 3 blue peels, and 36 micro dermabrasions. I hope i continue to see this improvement. ( I however would not want it done to my whole face at the same time as you have no skin and it burns and oozes and will remain severely red for up to 3 to six months....eee.
