Someone on a previous thread had asked about unclogged pores on nose. I live in Japan and there was a TV program on the benefits of greetea. One of them is that it can unclog the pores on your nose and removed the blackheads. They even demonstrated the results under one of those microscope skin monitors things and it seemd to have helped.
To do this, just put about 3 teaspoons of green tea leaves in one of your stockings to make a "tea bag". Then dig the "bag" in 90 degree water. Then rub the "bag" on your nose for about 5 minutes. One of the lady who's been doing it for the past 1 year and half showed up perfect pores under the microscope. Quite amazing. So if you have some greentea, some time and patience, give it a try.
You just reminded me of a skin-healing trick I used to use back in my neurotic days of intractable blemish-picking: after making myself a cup of green tea, I'd empty the contents of the tea bag and stick them directly on my open sores. I'd leave the leaves on my face for 10-20 minutes or so, rinse them off, and the swelling/redness/size of the sore would be substantially diminished. If there are any pickers out there, take heed!
