Question ?? concerning microdermabrasion

i am hispanic and have a semi-dark skin tone....i have several brown blotches on my forehead due to sun exposure while on medication...will microdermabrasion work on my skin tone??? if not, any other suggestions for a quick fix other than topical creams???? please help....thanx guys

i read somewhere (i forget offhand, sorry, or i'd tell you the book) that procedures like that can make things worse for darker skin tones. I think Vitamin C does a good job of evening out blotchiness...either topically, or orally. I think University Medical makes a C5 serum that's good. (it's marketed for wrinkles and such, but is good for other stuff too)

Microdermabrasion is safe for all skin tones - it won't make it worse. I haven't had it done but plan on soon. I have an olive skin tone as well and was told that it is perfectly safe. Actually, I was reading that it does help with hyperpigmentation, which is more of a problem with darker skin tones like ours. Hope this helps...
