hi, I'm also on accutane and I have heard that backaches and sore ribs are side effects of accutane. If it gets bad, consult your derm.

Accutane does that to my back. It's cool though. Take it easy and then enjoy clear skin.

I had it when on accutane, it goes after the treatment stops

When I was on accutane I had sore joints and muscle pains. I am a runner so if effected my running. But I've been off it for about two years now. My acne has come back but the sore joints and muscle pains have been gone for quite a while. I hope accutane works for you!

It went away after the first week for me. Upper back, and the backs of my legs. Keep an eye out for inflammation though if more joints start to hurt.
