Exclamation please someone help me this is very important

on my upper cheek, there is an idention probably from a previous cyst. it is indented into the skin and is going to become a scar. how can i prevent this from becoming a is a new idention about a few days old. it is still red and fleshy. i can take pictures if u would like to see.

I don't know if you can prevent the scar, but there may be some things you can do to help.

You can take vitamins-esp. zinc(no more than 50 mg/day), vit E(400 I.U/day), a multi vitamin, and definately vitamin C. These all help the skin to heal.

You should pierce a Vitamin E capsule and apply that to the area--I did this and it worked. The key is that it has to be immediately, while it's still a wound, I don't think it would work for healed scars since scar tissue has already formed.

I've seen commercials for neosporin, but I don't know if that works. I wouldn't even bother with mederma or elcina.

I just ordered CP Serum from Skin Biology and it is supposed to help with skin healing. It is apparently used for wounds. I haven't received it yet but lots of people are raving about it.
