Exclamation OLD PROACTIV

ok I have two boxes of proactiv Solution Im not using it yet cause right now I dont need it (just got off accutane) but when I start to breakout agian I want to use it to try and stay clear, the problem is these boxes are new but OLD. I had them for atleast 8 months but I havent opened them. they are still sealed and look new, but im not sure if I should use them cause I had them for so long. I dont want to go buy a brand new pack because they can get expensive. I keep proactiv in a dry room tempature place and the due date is next year, Would you still use this ?????

please post your opinions. Thank you.

If the products don't expire until next year, what's the dilemma? Use 'em, says I. Aye.

oh yeah i would definitely use them.

I discontinued my bimonthly mailing account with Proactiv about a year ago because I had 2-3 extra boxes by then and I'm STILL using them...i swear Proactiv is kinda like a big plate of lasagna...the more you eat, the bigger it gets. I still have 2 unopened bottles of the Repairing Lotion that I plan on using. Use yours up, I say.

Thanks for all the replies, Im gonna use it when I start to break out again.

Bunny, Nothing really has ever worked for me so I just dont have my hopes up for accutane, especially with the luck that I have.

First off, for those who do use proactiv is it working well for you? and secondly, why don't you go on it now and try and stop any breakouts from happening. Be "proactive" so to speak and don't wait for the pimples to come after you're accutane but stop them all together

I am a proactiv user. I used it several years back then stopped due to laziness. It worked well then, I received compliments often which was rare for me. I was thrilled.

I just started using it again and I already see phenominal results. You must stick w/ the regimen though. I've been using the Deep Cleansing Wash daily on my face and body. I did have alot of problem areas so to speak, and they have all improved greatly. I try to coordinate w/ the 3 piece set (wash, toner and lotion) and the deep cleansing wash. They also have a sulfur mask that is great to use once a week.

This stuff works alot better to heal acne as opposed to other harsher products administered by dermatologists.
