| Re: Questions about Indian Soaps..
I used to be really interested in Indian soaps too, I purchased a pure bar of Sandalwood & Turmeric, but found that it wasn't doing much but made my skin more dry (and I already have dry skin to begin with.) I also bought a pure bar of neem soap from the same place but I found that it was making my skin look weird..like more uneven. So I stopped both. I've heard a lot of great things about these ingredients but I haven't actually heard of anyone's personal experiences using them.
I think you should probably stick to one soap at a time, that way you'll know which one is making your skin worse and which one's making it better. I used to use like 3 soaps at the same time (I love soaps..) but I was always confused at which ones were doing the damage and which ones weren't. So now I stick to one. Pure Papaya soap I got online, good for clearing red marks too, I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and so far it's been great. I only use natural ingredients on my skin.
Remember also, that if a soap happens to clear your skin the first week and then you break-out the next, it could be from something you ate and not necessarely from the soap itself. So next time you get another unsuspected break-out..try to think of anything different you ate & eliminate it from your diet if possible. Then see how your skin reacts.
