The older I get, the dryer my skin becomes and it doesnt look very healthy at the moment. I have been off accutane for 9 months now and I have a few zits along my jawline - nothing serious or for me to cry about. I wash my face once a day because its sooooooooo dry especially around my cheek and forehead area. Sometimes i don't wash it at all. My red marks seem to heal quicker when my skin is oiler. I dont use any greasy products, cleansers, moistures or sunscreen because im very prone to break out.
I was wondering if anybody has broken out from jojoba oil? Anyone having positive results? Let us all know! Cheers
I started using it this weekend, haven't broken out. I like it so far. It basically took away a pimple in one day!!! Oh, and I bought it from a co-op, was right in with the beauty/cosmetic dept.
I love jojoba oil and never broke out because of it. My skin looks much better overall since I started using several months ago. I bought mine on eBay, there's lots of Websites that have it. GNC does carry it, but like you say are often out of stock. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif My local health food store also has it.
I've seen tea tree oil lots of places like Vitamin World and GNC. It's also online.
Jojoba oil worked well at first for me, but after about a month I broke out a bit. I stopped it because it made my skin so red eventually, which I didn't know it was supposed to do. Maybe I used it in such a concentrated form without any carrier oils...has anyone else found this redness?

I tried, against my better judgement, to use it in my oilyskin zone since I was told by some people on this board that it cut through the oily and would break up blakcheads/clogged pores. While it is true that some fats break down other fats.....this just did not work on my face and my skin was even more oily than usual and then it broke out. I wouldnt recommend using this product if you have oily skin that is not from it being too dry, but its just oily.
