Hi,
Just came off roaccutane about a month ago. Thought it would clear everything up, so did my dermatologist (she said the extra oil/sebum or whatever should have stopped now, and my skin will take about 6 months to clear up/lose its redness).
Anyway, I've started getting blackheads back on my nose, like I used to before roaccutane treatment (the roaccutane took it all away). Does this mean the roaccutane never worked out for me?
Also, I'm left with a few patches of redness around my face, especially under my eyes and on my chin, and around my jaw. Just wondering what I could do to get this redness away? I've had it for a good few years now, and I'm a bit sick of it.
I've not got that many spots anymore, but I have red marks of where they used to be. What do you recommend for this? They arent really raised, but they look like spots. Almost like scars? I'm not sure.
Finally, I have 2 cysts on my cheek. 1 is quite big, and the other is small. What do you recommend for this? My derma told me that I either get it injected with a steroid or cut out. I don't want to do anything drastic as of yet. Is there anything I can use for this?
Some extra info, I'm 16, have had this for years now and I use Panoxyl 10% Benzoyl peroxide. After I wash my face, it is dry and flakey. I just use NIVEA for men moisturiser - probably not the best option?
