I would be very interested in what Dr. Leung has to say about the use of Pantethine.
Panthethine is the active form of Pantothenic acid. It is somewhat popular to people who are on the Dr. Atkins Diet, since it seems to help curb those Carb cravings. There are only a few makers of Pantethine, all are very expensive compared to Pantothenic Acid.
Also I found a company that makes a sublingual (disolves under the tongue) form of Pantethine. This form may be benificial due to the fact it compleatly bypasses the digestive system, where stomach acid can destroy some of the B5.
Also, an added note to the digestive system, and people who have diarrhea, or other digestive problems; try taking a Pro Biotic supplement daily. A Acidophilus supplement that encourages the healthy flora of the intestines. This should help your body absorb more of the B5 better, and quicker, as well as help alleviate many digestive problems. But make sure you take a quality Pro Biotic supplement because most supplements on the market are not absorbed at all, the stomach acid destroys 95% of the Acidophilus.
