Post persistent red spots
I was on accutane for about 8 months nearly a year ago and the acne went. But lately I have these tiny red spots which keep coming up on my cheeks and some on my forehead, they don't hurt a bit but are VERY red and make my skin all blotchy. I've noticed they usually occur if I haven't shaven for about 3-4 days, does anyone else experience this? I use soap to wash my face 2-3 times a day, maybe this is causing it.. Or maybe Iam losing my mind..

hi yea i am a girl 21and i have been gettin this red soft circular marks solely on my cheeks (like my upper cheeks and they do not go away. i was on accutance awhile ago and i have been getting this red spots the last 2 years

don't wash your face more than twice a day.

are you just using regular soap? don't - use something mild, cetaphil or eucerin hydrating cleanser.

try using salicylic acid.

I do use regluar soap.. Ok thx for the advice, BUT I have used soap since accutane and it never did anything for ages until now...?

its always possible to develop an allergic reaction, but that's probably not your cause. just try switching and let us know what happens.

yea i find it funny that we both have this prob and were on accutance i hate these red marks if u find a way to get rid of them let me know. My derm says its acne but it doesnt fit any descrption i know of acne
