Hi there. When people speak about chemical peels (such as proteolytic enzyme peels or lactic acid peels), how long does the peel last?

I mean, are you walking around for several days in a peeling state (like after a sunburn), or does it take like 24 hours or whatever.

I'm not sure I could walk around at work in a peeled state at work for days on end LOL!

Also, are the purpose of peels mainly to fade red marks?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
