Red face Diane-35, acne and everything else

Hi Everyone,
I've been taking Diane-35 for 2 months now. It was precribed to me for acne problems, facial hair and hormone imbalance. Well, for the first 2 months, i noticed that my acne went down a bit. My doc also prescribed some facial tampons to apply to my faces after everywash (Clindets) and been using that as well for the past 2 months. For the past 3 weeks though, my skin started to break out like crazy. I got all those tiny little pimples all over my face and it's like i got millions of them, especially on my forehead, cheeks and chin.

Any one experience that taking Diane 35. Has anyone had a good or bad experience with D-35. Thank you all for your insights!

Me! :-)

I've been on it for 7 months and I'm completely clear. I had the very severe cystic type acne too. It takes 3-6 months to see results. Just be patient .

Diane-35 worked wonders for me for several years. Give it more time.

Well I have been on Diane for 3 months, and then my doc switched me to Estelle (same thing, cept Estelle gives placebo pills during the pill-free week)... and not much of a diff, I am still having zits. I'm into my 5th month already, and i am seriously wondering what could be the actual cause of my zits...

How long did it actually take you to clear up?

I have been on Diane for about 3.5 yrs now. I broke out very badly on it initially but it got better and totally cleared up my chin area but then after a couple of years I began to break out badly on my cheeks and a few on my chin again. I think it has begun to become less effective and am thinking of tryind Loette another BCP that's meant to be good for acne. I need the BCP for other reasons than acne otherwise I might think of going of it and seeing if it is really helping or not.
