Hi....I read your post about using skinoren (azelex) I started using it about 2 weeks ago and I seem to be breaking out right now, worse that normal cuz that time of the month is even over which is mainly when I break out. anyway, you said you've been on it for 2 1/2 months, did you get an inital breakout from it? I'm trying to figure out if I should stick it out for another few weeks or stop using it. I'm not on anything eles, have thought about the spiro but not sure yet.

Actually I've been on Skinoren for about six months now.Yes, I had a HORRIBLE initial breakout when I first started using it but I guess that was necessary to get everything out of my skin .It took about 2 months I guess before the initial breakout was over and then from then on it was smooth sailing.I must admit that Skinoren will not prevent breakouts 100% ,maybe close to 80% ,but any future zits usually go away within a few days with the Skinoren.Right now my forehead is just a little broke out with some tiny scattered ones but it is to be expected because I have been eating tons of greasy, junk food lately and haven't been eating too many good foods.I'm getting downright FAT too ! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/redface.gif
