Exclamation Help!! I started Omega 3 and my skin broke out

OK, my skin has been pretty ok but just a couple days ago I started taking omega 3 fish oil supplements and my acne is worse than its been in my entire life ever!!! I've read up and nothing says that omega 3 should do this. Its horrible, could I be allergic to the omega 3?? Help, please, any advice at all would be appreciated.

Perhaps. I took it while pregnant and it didn't bother my skin any. I take it on occasion now but not enough to cause the breakouts I've been having lately. Ugh.
Anyway, you may want to give it a little time bit if after a few weeks your still breaking out I would stop using it.

I broke out horribly when I took fish oil supplements too. I switched to flax seed oil supplements and my skin seems to tolerate those much better. It seems to be the only kind of fatty acid that doesn't break me out.

Yikes, ya I took flaxseed oil before too and did fine on that but I have ADHD and Omega-3 fish oils are supposedly more helpful for that. I dunno though... the flaxseed oil did work pretty good and it didn't cause me to break out... I guess maybe I should go back to that.. it's a shame, wasted $13 on a bottle of Omega3.

P.S. The best part about this oil is it can be your only source of fat because it's designed to give you a perfect ratio of omega 3:6:9 EFA's.
