So far not so great. For the amount of money I paid for this I could have stuck to using my african black soap. I can use the last step because it made my face to oily a broke out my nose and I just don't see that much of a change and I have been using it a few weeks I am really thinking about sending it back, but I know I will not get anouther order.
Has anyone ever experience an allegic reaction to proactiv because for the first couple of weeks my top lip had a really funny feeling like I was alergic to something and that was the only new thing I tried.
I tried Pro-active a couple of years ago. My whole body reacted -an all over internal itch I couldn't scratch. I stopped it for about two weeks and tried again, just to make sure. Same reaction. However, I gave the products to afriend and they worked for her!
Hi. I used proactive about 4-5 years ago. All it did was break me out sick. All my acne got twice as bad and I used it for like a month. I stopped and sent it back. I just took antibiotics and bp and that did it for me....but its back, but not as bad though ^_^.
I used proactiv about 6 months ago and it became painful to use- the "double dosage" of benzoyl peroxide dried my skin out, and it got to the point where using the cleanser hurt and stung- icky! I definitely do not recommend this product.
I used proactiv for 4 years but stopped about 2 years ago. It never made things worse for me but it never really helped either. I just stuck with it thinking that eventually something good would happen. Waste of money.
I HAVE BEEN USING PROACTIV FOR A YEAR AND A HALF.... I HAVE TRIED ABOUT 6 OTHER OVER THE COUNTER BRANDS AND THEIR COMBINATIONS PREVIOUSLY.....
I HAVE FOUND THAT NONE OF THEM HAVE A LOW DOSAGE OF BENZOYL PEROXIDE (SPELLING?) LIKE THE PROACTIV. ALL THE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN THE OTHER ONES ARE EITHER TOO STRONG OR MY SKIN IS ALLERGIC TO THEM. THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE TINGLY/BURNING/ITCHY FEELING, AND I WOULD BREAK OUT MASSIVELY RIGHT AFTER THE BURNING/TINGLING/INTCHING. NO FUN
SO I USE THE CLEANSER AND TONER AND ONLY BUY THEM EVERY 6 MONTHS FROM PROACTIV. U PAY PER SHIPMENT, NOT PER MONTH AS A MEMBER. ITS VERY NICE. I FIGURED IF I BUY 2 CLEANSERS AND 1, THEN 6 MONTHS LATER BUY 3 CLEANSERS, THEN 6 MONTHS LATER BUY 2 CLEANSERS AND A TONER AGAIN AND SO ON IT WORKS OUT MONEY WISE WELL TOO.JUST MAKE THEM LAST. DO NOT OVER USE THE PRODUCT.
